Drawing always seemed fun to me since the very beginning of my pen-pencil-book life...I always had a thing towards drawing like a bee has a thing towards flowers..like a bear has a thing towards honey..like a sunflower has a thing towards the first part of its name bla bla bla!!
ARCHITECTURE struck my BRILLIANT brain (fact) like a decade ago. it was my maternal uncle who was doin it. all his stationery, his drawings, his models always fascinated me..!!! there wasn't even an atom sized thing in his private studio that failed to fascinate me!! years rolled by and now it's my turn =)
Life hasn't stored everything for everyone..u get a thing and then u don't get the other thing that was actually necessary to run the first thing that forces u to struggle for the second thing so that u could make use of the first thing! duh, WHY am i turning so stupidly philosophical!!! o.O (another lame reason behind the fact mentioned above.) Anyways, I was excited for i got into architecture but never knew that i would ever fall into a situation like *read the very philosophical lines again.* The classes began with a full throttle and the true colors of living in a university hostel being a student of architecture started showing up gradually!!! the day begins with a panic n ends with a panic..in fact it never ends.. it's a week that ends..sleepless, hectic weekday nights has gripped me to my core..!!! all i long for is a weekend..all i pray for is a weekend, when I have the LONGEST SLEEP of the human race..! ahh..SLEEP! *stars twinkling in a black background* u never know what it means to me! ;D ........
err..sorry....sorry for moving too far away from the topic for a while..can't help when there's a 'SLEEP' around :P ahh..SLEEP! *stars twinkling in a black background* SLEEP is like a heaven of night, like nothing comparable to it, nothing near it! nothing even far far away from it.. =P
*splash of water*..... grrrhh.. so sorry!! =( IT KEEPS DIVERTING ME ALL THE TIME!!! =/
so where was i? All right!!..architecture in a university hostel =)....Continuous classes from morning to evening with a worthless lunch break, studio, seminars, reviews, other stupidity ending up with a tiresome commute across the railway tracks is just a day in college! hostel begins after that =P a surf in the internet till it's the dinner time when food isn't what a food is supposed to be like =( after the dinner begins the real architecture! fresh assignments, pending assignments and unfortunately the long lost and forgotten assignments that suddenly returns to say a HI to the mentor's mind :@ are all resolved to be completed in a night..work starts and u never know when the clock ticks 12, then 3, then 4!!...u wake up from the work to the smell of dawn, to the early morning bird chirps, to the first rays of the sun! when u finally decide to sleep...!!! =/ meanwhile, the paranoia that abducted you is something that's worth sharing! ;) you witness the hostel going from a very noisy fish market to a state of tranquility, SLEEP..grrh..not this time..!! i am not getting deviated anymore with SLEEP!! =s u see the traffic outdoors converting from rickshaws, cars and bicycles to the cargo trucks only! u get short term schizophrenic on listening others play, yell at each other and have fun while u are stuck under your drafting board rubbing your parallel bar on the sheets, your very abnormal schedule as compared to the other hostelers forces you to feel hungry at abnormal times that in turn forces you to go paranoid and swear at the cafeteria for not providing a 24hrs service..!!!! in fact nothing goes well at nights..adding powers to the already present over-craziness is the extreme weather condition! duh..
All that goes on in my mind is wishes..wish to have a large place of my own, wish to stay away from the noisy place that later turns into a pin drop silence zone that actually turns me crazy!! wish to live all alone in a penthouse on a skyscraper and watch the shimmering night lights of the city across the glass walls, wish to eat eat n eat..wish to enjoy the night life at the downtown!!

A blurred (after waking up from a 3 hour sleep) view across my hostel room's window on the 4th floor at 8.45am. I was flabbergasted today on finding a pigeon dozing at the cill!! =D
